Adults 55+ Events and Activities
Memberships are required for all Adult 55+ programs including, drop-in programs, registered programs, events, and workshops. The cost for our Adults 55+ Membership is $35 for Richmond Hill residents, and $63 for non-residents. You can attend drop-in classes for $1.30 (Pickleball $3.10) with a general membership. Computer Information Sessions (Drop-In) |
Date: Thursdays Come and join the Richmond Hill Computer Technology Volunteers. We will discuss the technologies behind computers, smartphones, tablets and the internet. Everyone will get the chance to talk about the joys and difficulties that they have experienced in using a wide range applications. The floor will be open to any questions. These 75-minute sessions will be held on the second Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. The final session is June 12. |
55+ Barbecue - June 6 |
Date: Friday, June 6 Enjoy an afternoon of fun an entertainment. Please note that refreshments will only be served to individuals 55+. No membership is required to attend this event. |
55+ Spring Choir Concert - June 8 |
Date: Sunday, June 8 Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment by the McConaghy Centre Choir conducted by Jessica V. Kun. This concert is open to all ages, tickets will be sold in advance ($5) and at the door ($6). Light refreshments will be served. |
55+ Ice Cream Social - June 18 |
Date: Wednesday, June 18 Savour a free ice cream cone and celebrate the arrival of summer while being entertained! You must register for this free event by June 11. Spots available on a first-come, first-serve basis. |

All aboard! Travel back in time for an authentic heritage train ride through the picturesque countryside of Woolwich Township on a historic rail line that has been in service since the 1880s. The two hour return journey is on the same tracks, from St. Jacobs to Elmira. In the morning enjoy shopping at
St. Jacobs Market with a large selection of fruit, vegetables, crafts and other fine items. Lunch is a four-course meal at Golf’s Steak House. Tickets available on a first-come, first-serve basis until Thursday, August 14.
